Married to Capt. Vinod Kumar Gupta, ex- MD of J&K Finance Corporation (Retd.), granddaughter of Lala Mulk Raj Saraf, popularly known as Father of Journalism and youngest daughter of Om Prakash Saraf , journalist. She carries the onus of her rich legacy very gracefully. As regards her professional aspect, she has served All India Radio for over 23 years and then took voluntary retirement.
