JAMMU, June 20: Retired Central Armed Police Forces Warriors Welfare Association (CAPFWWA) Jammu and Kashmir urged the Central Government to stop discrimination against them and redress their issues on priority.
Addressing a press conference at Press Club here, today, J&K president of the Association, Ram Lal Dogra AC (retd) in presence of chief patron, R.K Sharma IG (retd) said that Association is moving on right path for redressing of their demands and Central Government already redressed many demands.
Ram Lal Dogra said for the redressing of pending demands, the Association will work with more force and sought the support of all the people to pressurize the Government to fulfil their pending demands on priority.
He threatened the Central Government that if it fails to implement the Old Pension Scheme in their favour, the Association members will Gharao Parliament in New Delhi.
He asked the Government to redress all their demands at the earliest and added that they extended their full support to the retired paramilitary force personnel sitting at Jantar Mantar for redressing of demands.
He said it is shameful for the Government that the paramilitary force personnel, who served their life for the sovereignty of the country, are sitting on Jantar Mantar for redressal of their demands.
Others present on the occasion include DC (retd) Arjun Singh, AC (retd) Baldev Raj, AC (retd) Tulsidas, AC (retd) Bashi Ram, AC (retd) Yashpal, Inspector (retd) Thoru Ram, Inspector (retd) Chaggar Singh, Inspector (retd) Som Nath Sharma, Inspector (retd) Ram Prakash, SI (retd) Mohd Majeed, SI (retd) Faqir Singh, Ajit Singh Langeh, Rattan Lal Bodhraj, Swarandev Singh and others.
They demanded that great difference in the wages/salaries of the military and para military forces be removed, separate paramilitary from Central Civil Service Rule, give special pay to the para-military force men like Army, stop new pension scheme and implement the old one, implement one rank one pension scheme and give them all canteen benefits like defence personnel.
