SRINAGAR, Feb 18: As a part of the Sadbhavana initiative a Capacity Building Tour to Delhi and Jaipur was organized by Army Camp Torna under aegis of Pir Panjal Brigade.
The tour was flagged in at Youth Club, Boniyar by Commander, Pir Panjal Brigade. Various civil and military dignitaries and parents of the participants attended the ceremony and the participants were given a warm welcome.
The tour comprised of 25 local girl students and two lady teachers from Boniyar region. During the tour, the students interacted with dignitaries and also visited various historical places such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, National War Memorial, Red Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Jaigarh Fort.
The students shared their tour experiences with enthusiasm. The eagerness and confidence which they had gained during the tour was clearly visible in their narratives.
The tour also provided an insight into the rich heritage of the country as well as various developmental and industrial initiatives that are afoot, exposing the participants to varied career options.
The students considered themselves fortunate for have been given the opportunity to witness the great legacy and culture of the country from Kashmir to Delhi and Jaipur.
