Capacity building tour flagged off

BANDIPORA, Nov 16: Army Commander in Watlab Sector today flagged off a Capacity Building Tour from Army Camp Paribal Tekri wherein 25 youth of Bandipora and Baramulla Districts left for excursion.
During the tour these youth will visit Jammu, Mumbai, Goa, Hazrat Nizamuddin and Delhi.
A handout stated that purpose of the tour is to facilitate positive interaction of the youth with other countrymen to acquaint them with the rich socio-cultural heritage of India to widen their outlook to integrate them with the national mainstream.
Amongst other places, the youth will get an opportunity to visit Gateway of India, Haji Ali Dargah and Film City in Mumbai and Agoda Fort and Baga Beach at Goa.
They will also go to National War Memorial in Delhi and will have an opportunity to interact with Governor of Goa and senior Army officials.
During the flag-off ceremony, Jahangir (Sarpanch of Watlab village) said, this was once in a lifetime opportunity to educate the youth and provide them with correct perspective.
