Cannabis, live cartridges recovered during IT raid at BCC

JAMMU, Jan 9: Cannabis and live cartridges were recovered during Income Tax raid at Beigh Construction Company (BCC) at Bhatindi.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged by Manek Shah Kapoor, Deputy Director of Income Tax (Investigation), Jallandhar Camp Office House Number 1, Chirag Colony, Bhatindi Morh Jammu to the effect that during the ongoing Income Tax raid at the said address, search party recovered 46 grams cannabis and 3 live cartridges (32.5 bore) from inside the locker in the room of Tahir Beigh, son of Mohammad Ashraf Beigh (Owner of BCC Bhatindi), a resident of House Number 1, Chirag Colony, Bhatindi Morh, Jammu.
On the receipt of this information, a case under FIR Number 10/2021 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act and 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
