JAMMU, Mar 19: The aggrieved candidates of Jammu division, who were selected in open rally conducted by Border Security Force (BSF) around two years back held a protest demonstration and demanded their selection.
The candidates who were selected in open rally conducted by BSF in the month of March 2012, assembled at Press Club and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
One of the protesting candidates Jasbir Singh alleged that BSF authorities are playing with the future of hundreds of youth.
He added that some of the candidates who were selected in open rally conducted by BSF authorities around two years back are at the verge of overage.
Some of the candidates working in the private sector to earn bread-butter left their jobs with a hope that they will be selected by the BSF, Singh said.
“We want that BSF authorities should take the matter seriously and redress their plights at the earliest”, Sumit Kumar, one of the protesting candidate said.
If BSF authorities failed to redress our demands at the earliest, we will intensify our protest and for any untoward incident, BSF authorities will be responsible, he warned.
