JAMMU, May 7: A campus placement drive was held today at IECS Polytechnic, located at Purkhoo Camp, Jammu.
Recruiters from different organization like Sudeep Bhat, Area Manager- Product Support, JCB India Limited, Aamir Suharwardy, General Manager, Safa Valley Construction Company C/o 8 Boundaries Builders, Sunil Sharma, Managing Director, Cyborg Network Communication, etc. visited college campus.
In the drive, three students from Mechanical Department got shortlisted in JCB India Limited, four students from Civil Department got shortlisted in 8 Boundaries Builders and four students from Computer Sciences and Electronics and Communication Department got shortlisted in Cyborg Network Communication.
Ajay Jamwal, Dean (Adm)-cum-Training Placement, while welcoming the senior management and HR Heads from participating companies said, “This placement drive drive is combination of three years hard work of faculty and students. Earlier, a number of students also got selected in companies like Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Bharti Infratel Limited in current session and students were given on the spot job letters”.
The management and staff members expressed hope that the selected students will join these companies after completion of their final semester and try to learn various practical application of the knowledge attained by them during their training period.
Others present during the drive were Amit Sharma, Principal, IECS, Gurbachan Singh, HoD, Civil Department, HN Bhat, HoD, Mechanical Department, Daljeet Kour, HoD, E&C Department and Vijay Singh Chib, HoD, Electrical Department.
