JAMMU, Sept 29: A three day camp for on spot fitment of free artificial limbs and calipers to the amputees of various categories and polio victim of all the districts of Jammu region, is being held at Red Cross Home for Handicapped ,Udheywala (Bohri), with effect from October 3 to 5, 2013.
The camp is being organized by Viklang Chhatra Trust in collaboration with JRC Home for Handicapped under the sponsorship of the State Trade Corporation of India.
The technical teams of world’s largest limb manufacturing organization, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, shall fabricate limbs and calipers as per the individual requirements of the beneficiaries.
Satya Pal Saraf, the organizer of the camp said about 150 amputees and Polio victims would be provided free limbs and calipers in the camp besides wheel chairs, tricycles, crutches and walking aids to the needy.
Those who have not been able to get themselves registered so far can avail the opportunity during the camp and get themselves registered at JRC Home.
