LONDON, June 3: Calvin Harris has broken his silence since splitting from Taylor Swift, insisting the former couple still has a “huge amount of love and respect” for each other.
News of the break-up broke on June 1 and a day later the Scottish DJ confirmed the reports with a simple statement on Twitter.
“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end and what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” he wrote.
Swift later retweeted the post, but did not offer up any additional comments.
The duo began dating last year after being introduced by their mutual friend Ellie Goulding. (PTI)
