Sir,
It is highly objectionable that some cable operators in the city are indulging in unhealthy trade practices as they charge full amount for each month from the customers but not only do they provide insufficient services but with small duration power shedding or in drizzling or a mild wind conditions the connections are snapped . To add to the problems of the residents with such connections, for nearly a month they have shut up almost all leading English and Hindi TV news Channels . Lots of reminders and calls are either not responded or are avoided saying the restoration of the shut channels was going to take place within days.
The district administration must take cognizance of this unfair trade practice when the customers are feeling exploited and cheated. Such cable operators are not subjected to any inspections or regulations by the concerned authorities.
