With the growing population, the number of vehicles moving on the roads is increasing likewise leading to frequent traffic jams. The traffic jams may result in unwanted and unnecessary inconveniences and mishappenings. While, on one hand, students get late for schools and employees for offices; on the other hand, patient may lose life for not getting timely medical treatment in the referred higher institutions.
In the winter capital of the State, there is more movement of vehicles on Durbar move. Most of the roads remain jam packed in late morning and evening. In order to avoid traffic jams, the vehicles should not be wrongly parked. The Government should go for more parking zones and should execute envisaged projects promptly like widening of roads to four-laning or six-laning, making fly-overs and ring roads.
