KATRA, Nov 23: A bus conductor died while trying to catch moving vehicle at Deva Mai Chowk in Katra, here today.
The deceased was identified as Saajan Antaal, son of Subash Chander of Batoot.
He was working a conductor with the bus number JK02AW-5955. He reportedly died on the spot.
Meanwhile, in another road mishap, baby of a Vaishno Devi pilgrim was seriously injured after being hit by a passenger bus at Katra Bus Stand. The girl child, identified as Simmi, daughter of Phool Chand of Mahroli, New Delhi, was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu.
