Burglary cases worked out, 3 arrested

POONCH, Aug 24: The police worked out several burglary cases and arrested three persons besides making recoveries.
SP Poonch, Shamsheer Hussain disclosed that during first week of August several complaints of  thefts were reported from some shops in Poonch city here. A special police team led by SHO Poonch Sanjeev Slathia picked up some suspects and placed them under interrogation.
One Zulfikar Ahmed of the town confessed that he had done several burglaries at cosmetic shops and stolen many goods. He also revealed the names of the persons / traders to whom he had sold the goods on cheap rates. The police then arrested  Zakir Hussain and Zahoor Din in this connection. Many goods including cells, tooth pastes, Shampoo, detergents and other cosmetic items were recovered. A case FIR No. 129/12 stand registered against the accused persons. The police said that they have recovered more than 70 % of the goods and remaining are yet to be recovered.  The accused Zulfikar Ahmed, son of Said Alamand and two others were sent to judicial custody.
