REASI, June 27: A burglary case was solved by Katra police by arresting the thieves and recovering stolen items from them.
On the basis of a written complaint by one Prashant Bharti son of Dutta Bharti, resident of Arly (Katra) that a theft has been occurred in his shop i.e provision store at Arly, a case FIR Number 92/2020 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at police station Katra.
A special team headed by Inspector Sunil Sharma (SHO police station Katra) under the supervision of Kuljeet Singh (SDPO Katra), Amit Bhasin (SP Katra) and overall supervision of SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir was constituted to work out the case.
Working on the case, police succeeded in apprehending two thieves namely Ajay Kumar son of Mulkh Raj, resident of Matyal (Katra) and Rahul Kumar son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Serli (Katra). The stolen property worth Rs 22000 was also recovered from the duo.
