Burglars decamp with cash, goods from two shops

KATHUA, Aug 10: The burglars decamped with cash and goods after breaking into in two shops at Kathua late last night.
According to reports burglars broke into the Billo Maniyari Store in Main Bazar Kathua last night from back wall and decamped with Rs 90,000 cash and other goods.
The burglars later broke into Anil General Store in the same market and decamped with Rs 5000 cash and cigarettes and other items worth Rs 60,000 after breaking the front shutter. A case has been registered in Police Station Kathua under relevant Sections of the law.
Meanwhile the representatives of Beopar Mandal Kathua, Kulveer Singh and Bal Krishan have accused police for the burglaries saying there is no police patrolling in the market during night. They said the business community people feel totally scared due to negligence of police.
