SAMBA, Feb 25: The burglars intruded into two cosmetic shops on border road area of Samba late last night and decamped with lakhs of rupees from there.
According to the people of the area, this is not first incident of the theft in the area as few months ago the unknown thieves broke the lock of the one mobile shop on two times and decamped with mobile and cash from the shop but police failed to arrest the burglars. The location where theft took place is just 30 metres away from Main Chowk of Samba town.
People said the burglary incidents take place in the town despite police patrolling during night hours in the market and the burglars manage to decamp with costly goods and cash. They said it is a cause of concern and shopkeepers and people feel scared of increasing theft incidents in the area.
The people, while expressing their concern over increasing thefts in the market have demanded immediate arrest of burglars.
