SRINAGAR, Jan 15: Burglars struck in two houses in Ratnipora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and decamped with cash and gold.
Reports said that burglars struck in the houses of Nazir Ahmad Mir and Noor Mohammad Dar and decamped with cash, gold ornaments and other valuable items worth several lakh.
The family members reported the theft incidents to police, while exact cost of the stolen items has not been ascertained yet.
Mir, one of the victims said that Rs 19,000 was stolen from his house, while as 5 pair ear rings, one chain, two batches, two watches and Rs 20000 cash was stolen from Dar’s house.
Police said that a case under relevant Sections has been registered and manhunt launched to apprehend the thieves.
