SRINAGAR : Expressing grief and sorrow over the death of a youth in security force firing at Narbal today, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today said bullets are not answer to stones.
In a statement here, newly appointed General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir said “Bullets are no answer to stones and it is high time for the forces to follow a SOP “.
Mr Mir added, “Forces needs to get sensitised as non compliance of SoP brings instability in the peace process”. Expressing Sympathies with the bereaved family ,Mir said that PDP stands with the people in distress and justice shall prevail. This is perhaps for the first time the PDP has not condemned the incident and demanded inquiry.
However, in the past the ruling party used to condemn civilian killings and always demand inquiry. (AGENCIES)
