JAMMU, Nov 25: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Amrikadal topped the crorepatis list of the ongoing Assembly elections in the Jammu and Kashmir with assets worth Rs 84 crores.
PDP candidate from Amirakadal Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has movable assets of Rs 44.46 crore including 6 vehicles, jewellery worth Rs 6.05 lakh, Rs 41 lakh deposit in banks, shares in different companies worth Rs 43.93 crore and Rs 22,500 cash in hand, while as similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 9.62 crore including jewellery worth Rs 1.07 crore, Rs 2.50 lakh deposit in banks and Rs 29,800 cash in hand.
He has immovable assets of Rs 24.25 crore including double storied bungalow at Gandhi Nagar, 4 storied residential house at Sheikh Bagh, Srinagar, 380 sq ft space at New Delhi, 152 kanals and 18 marlas non-agricultural land, commercial complex at Sopore, 35 kanals and 16 marlas agricultural land at Nadihal, Rafibad and at village Khushipora.
His spouse has similar assets of Rs 6.62 crore including 200 sq feet space at New Delhi and 1 biga and 1 biswa agricultural land at New Delhi.
Legislative Assembly Speaker and National Conference (NC) candidate from Eidgah constituency Mubarak Gul has movable assets of Rs 52.47 lakh including Maruti car, Rs 19.35 lakh investments in bonds/debentures/shares and units in companies/mutual funds and Rs 1.25 lakh cash in hand, while similar assets on the name of his wife were valued at Rs 27.43 lakh including jewellery worth Rs 90,000, LIC policy worth Rs 2.75 lakh. He has immovable assets of Rs 1.82 crore including residential building at Sidhra, plot at Bemina and shops at Batmaloo.
