JAMMU, Mar 4: Minister for R&B, Syed Altaf Ahmed Bukhari today reviewed the functioning of the department after assuming office at the Civil Secretariat here.
Mr. Bukhari underscored the need for efficient working and delivery on ground, saying that there should be visible change felt by the common people with regard to the overall functioning of the department.
Mr. Bukhari asked the officers to prepare a comprehensive presentation highlighting the achievements under the R&B sector and report on the present status of the works under progress. He urged on the officers to ensure that deadlines with respect all projects are met and these are completed as per specifications and on time.
Commissioner Secretary, R&B Tanvir Jehan, MD JKPCC, Chief Engineer, R&B, Jammu, Chief Engineer, PMGSY Jammu, Chief Engineer Mechanical, Chief Engineer Mughal Road, Development Commissioner, R&B, Director Planning, R&B, Director Finance, R&B, Director Stores and Procurement and other senior officers attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, after assuming the charge, several deputations met the Minister and apprised him about issues concerning them and sought his intervention. The Minister assured them that their genuine demands would be met in phase manner.
