NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on January 31.
In a break from tradition, for the first time the Budget session, which usually begins from end February, will now meet a month ahead.
”Subject to exigencies of business, the session is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, the 12th April, 2017,” the Press communique issued by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat said. (AGENCIES)
