Budget Session

Sir,
This has reference to the news item “Oppn protests force Governor to stop Address, leave legislature Hall” The Government and the opposition parties should work in tandem to ensure that the last budget session of the present coalition Government does not end without transacting any fruitful business. The way the Budget session began one wonders whether their will any bonhomie between the two parties.
If the session is marred with usual walkouts and sloganeering, it will hurt the people of the State. Many bills are pending with the Government and these need to be cleared without any hiccups. During this time, the working in secretariat comes to a halt. Every official is involved with the Assembly Session. People visiting secretariat  are clearly told that their queries cannot be answered their grievances cannot be redressed because staff is busy with the session. So our elected representatives should ensure that not a single moment of the session is wasted, rather it is used for public cause.
The Government on its part should give the opposition opportunities to air their grievances and the opposition on its part should not oppose any Government move for the sake of opposition as it will not benefit the State.
Yours etc….
