Budget 2017-18

Sir,
Hectic actively is going on for the early presentation of Budget in February 2017 instead of March as usual practice. GST bill that has been passed by the  Parliaments is a praise worthy move for the uniform tax structure throughout the country.
As a part of suggestion the taxes on chemicals and fertilizers should be reduced so that poor farmers should heave a sigh of relief being prone to commit suicides as their crops are damaged due to drought and incessant rains.
Further it is prayed that income tax slab of pensioners, being axed by the ailments of old age should be increased from 3 lakh rupees to 4 lakh rupees so that they can heave a sigh of relief from the backbone breaking price rise in essential commodities like rice, sugar pulses etc. The employees must also be exempted, whose annual salary is upto Rs 4 lakhs. It is also earnestly prayed that Vat and other Excise taxes must be reduced especially on consumer goods so that it is virtually “poor friendly budget” as majority of the people of our country are eking out a living  by the sweat of brow.
Yours etc…
