BSP’s concern over degradation of soil globally

JAMMU, Feb 9: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has expressed concern over the degradation of the soil globally.
In a statement issued by former State president and senior leader of BSP, Tulsi Dass Langeh, the World Land and Water Resources Analysts has predicted that by the year 2030 world’s population will be 8.5 billion and Indians population will be 1.5 billion.
He added that the Analysts have also predicted that in view of the rise in population, the farmers would have to grow 30 per cent more grains by the year 2030, which will be difficult.
Langeh also stated that the speeches by the fundamentalists of Hindu and Muslim communities for producing more and more children will also prove dangerous for the country and the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should intervene into the matter and restrict these people from such speeches.
