JAMMU, Sept 8: A team of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders led by State general secretary, Rakesh Wazir, toured the flood affected areas of Nagrota constituency including Bain Bajalta, Rangoora, Tutan Di Khui, Khana Chargal, Jagti, Suketar, Badsoo, Seri Khurd and Kanyala to take stock of the damages occurred to the lives and properties of the people.
The BSP leaders also talked to the authorities including Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, AK Sahu in this regard who assured all help in this regard and assured that the Naib Tehsildars and Tehsildars would be fully put on job and relief work would be done immediately.
Wazir further said that the amount of compensation announced by the Government ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh per person who have lost their lives is nothing else except a joke with the families of the killed persons and further said that the Government should distribute the relief material as well as financial aid without any red tapeism.
