BSP constitutes bodies for Jammu district

JAMMU, July 14: In order to expedite the working of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and its membership drive, the senior party leaders of the party under the chairmanship of party State president, Tarsem Lal Khullar, met today and framed bodies for two administrative units of Jammu district.
The meeting divided Jammu district into two administrative units-Jammu A (comprising Six constituencies viz Jammu East, Jammu West, Marh, Raipur-Domana, Akhnoor and Chhamb) and Jammu B (comprising Gandhi Nagar, Bishnah, RS Pura, Suchetgarh and Nagrota).
The body framed for Jammu A comprised of Charanjeet Bitta as president, Arjit Kumar as vice-president, Manoj Kumar as general secretary, Anil Verma as secretary and Rajni as cashier.
For Jammu B, Raj Kumar Thappa was elected as president, Rishi Kumar Sharma as vice-president, Jagga Ram Bhagat as general secretary, Girdhari Lal as secretary and Hans Raj Bhagat as cashier.
It was decided in the meeting that to make these units more effective, Ajaib Singh Motton and Raja Singh will look after the affairs of Jammu B as coordinators while Mohinder Kashyap and BD Thappa will coordinate for Jammu A.
