MENDHAR, Nov 18: Customers are facing a lot of problems due to breakdown in the Broadband service of the Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district.
Local residents Gaurav Negi, Ketan Verma, Rajat Kapoor and others says that problem has been going on for the last many days. ” We go to BSNL Exchange daily and lodge our complaint, the employees there suggest to contact district BSNL office Poonch and also claim there was some trouble in optical fiber cable (OFC). Such casual approach of BSNL staff is going on since long.
They said that despite paying more than Rs 800 per month, we are not getting services. People of Mendhar have demanded from CGM, BSNL Jammu to find a solution to this problem. In this regard, when contacted to BSNL district officer SDO Poonch, he said that this problem has arisen due to technical fault. The BSNL team is working on this and services will be restored soon.
