JAMMU, Feb 6: The Border Security Force (BSF) and Rangers held a flag meeting at Chamblyal along the International Border (IB) in Ramgarh sector of Samba district to discuss the issue of cleaning ‘sarkanda’ along the border to have a more clear view of the area.
Official sources said Sukhjit Singh Dhangar, Second-in-Command of 200 battalion of the BSF along with 10 officers and 12 Chenab Rangers Wing Commander Mohammad Ali accompanied by 12 officers attended the flag meeting, which was held at Chamblyal on the International Border for about 40 minutes.
Sources said the two sides discussed clearing the border area of grown up ‘sarkanda’ for clear view of the border area.
The meeting was held in cordial atmosphere, they added and said both sides have agreed to clean the ‘sarkanda’ on their side of the border.
