BSF men rescue deer trapped in fencing

JAMMU, Nov 8: The Border Security Force (BSF) men  of  33rd battalion today rescued a male deer who had been trapped in concertina coil of border fencing in Pargwal area of Akhnoor sector.
A BSF spokesman said that  a BSF patrol noticed a male deer trapped in the fencing near Jamunbela post this morning. The deer was trying to get itself freed and got injured. The jawans informed Assistant Commandant Santosh Kumar and in his supervision the injured animal was rescued by the jawans by taking extra precaution. The bleeding animal was removed to nearby BSF camp  where a Veterinary doctor provided treatment. Later, the deer was shifted to Wild Life Park, Manda in Jammu.
