SRINAGAR : A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan died and another was wounded when they slipped from a top due to snow in Machil sector in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said here today.
They said a group of two BSF jawans on a patrol near a forward post on the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector slipped on frozen snow from a mountain top.
A Jawan died on the spot while another injured was rushed to hospital. (AGENCIES)
