SAMBA, Jan 9: A BSF jawan hanged himself to death in his house in Ramgarh area of Samba district today.
As per the reports, BSF jawan namely 34 years old Arun Chalotra, son of Rattan Chand of Staka Chak, tehsil Ramgarh district Samba hanged himself. He was on leave.
He is posted in 51 Bn of BSF in Nanga BoP of Ramgarh, Sub Sector of Samba district. His dead body was brought to Ramgarh Hospital for postmortem. After the postmortem, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
In this regard the police have taken cognizance and started further investigation. The cause of extreme step taken by the jawan was not known yet.
