BSF jawan among 2 killed, 3 hurt in Ramban mishap

JAMMU: A BSF jawan was among two killed when a taxi they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Ramban district..
Three others were injure in the incident. “A passenger taxi on way from Srinagar to Jammu during wee hours today skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Banihal,” police here today said.
They said that the driver identified as Ghulam Nabi, son of Abdul Khaliq Malyar, resident of Watergam, district Baramulla, Kashmir and Constable Babi Rai of 11 Bn BSF died on the spot.
The injured were identified as Head Constable Samar Kumar, resident of P O Vishrampur, House No 51 Part Colony Kunda, Chattisgarh, Constable Lal Babu Kumar of Patna and Constable Dev Raj Vishwas of Kolkota, all of 11 Bn BSF and they have been admitted to the Banihal hospital. (AGENCIES)
