RAJOURI, Jan 5: A Head Constable of Border Security Force ( BSF) died while three others were injured when a bus carrying BSF men of 42 Bn skidded and met with an accident in Nowsher sector today.
The mishap took place at around 1.50 pm when the bus No. JK02AJ/ 5041, carrying BSF men was on way to Jammu from Poonch. It was raining and due to slippery road condition the bus skidded off the road and over turned. The injured jawans were removed to Nowshera hospital where some of them were discharged after providing first aid.
Seriously injured HC, Ram Pal of 146 Bn BSF, hailing from Pallanwalla (Khour) was referred to Army Hospital, Rajouri but he succumbed on the way. Three other BSF men were undergoing treatment in Hospital at Nowshera. They are- Assistant Sub Inspector AK Mishra, driver Vijay Kumar and Constable Anil Kumar. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
