LOS ANGELES, Feb 10: Pop singer Britney Spears has thanked fans for their prayers and wishes for niece Maddie Aldridge.
The 35-year-old pop star took to social media to say that Maddie is doing well, after she regained consciousness yesterday and was grateful for the support of the well-wishers.
“We are so grateful to share that Maddie is making progress. Thank you all for sending thoughts and prayers our way. Let’s all keep praying,” wrote Spears.
The “Glory” singer’s eight-year-old niece had almost drowned after being involved in a tragic ATV accident.
According to E! News, the spokesperson of the Spears family added that Maddie was “awake and talking” and recognises her family members who have been by her side since the accident took place. (PTI)
