Bring Kailash Kund yatra on tourist map: CCI

JAMMU, Aug 29: Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu has urged upon the Government to bring historical Kailash Kund yatra in Bhaderwah on the tourist map of the country.
In a meeting of the Jammu Chamber held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Y V Sharma, the members appealed the Government that effective and concrete steps should be taken to bring the famous Kailash Kund yatra on Seoj Dhar of Bhaderwah (Doda) in Jammu region on the tourist map of the country. This will not only promote the pilgrim tourism but will also boost the economy of that area.
The Chamber also impressed upon the hoteliers, tour and transport operators and other voluntarily organizations to provide all possible help to the prospective yatris to encourage them to undertake this yatra commencing on September 5 from Bhaderwah.
They also urged upon the business community and the people of Jammu region in particular to to participate in this `Pracheen Yatra’ in Bhaderwah and enjoy scenic beauty and environs of the site of great pilgrimage.
