JAMMU, Mar 7: Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya today organized a programme on Maha Shiv Jayanti.
Former Minister, RS Chib, was the chief guest while National Conference president for women wing, Pushpa Dogra, was also present in the programme.
On the occasion, Achariya Kumar Ji of Krishna Ashram Muthi gave sermons to the devotees. He also reiterated the three lines marked on the Shivalinga known as Tripundi, which symbolize the three fold characteristics of the Trimurti or the lord of three subtle deities.
RS Chib in his speech said that God does not create the elements and constituents of nature nor does he create human beings or human souls. “Matter, souls and God are neither created nor destroyed; they are eternal and imperishable”, he added.
Candle lighting was performed and Shiv Dhawaj was hoisted at the end of the programme. Later, Prasad was distributed among the participants.
Blessings and inspirations were given by Rajyogini Bk Sudarshan, chief of Brahma Kumaris, J&K.
