JAMMU, May 1: To spread the message of peace, Brahma Kumaris organized a meditation & spiritual session on ” Clean the mind and Green the Earth” under the theme “Year of Global Enlightenment for Golden Age”.
The programme in which lot of persons from different walks of life participated was held at Rajinder Nagar JDA Housing Colony Park Sec-3, Ban Talab.
On this occasion Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Rajesh Shavan and M. K. Dhar PRO to Chief Minister were the special guests. On the occasion VC JDA Jammu handed over the official letter for maintenance of this park. Others among the guests were M L Ganjöo, S. N Raina & Dr. Masood Iqbal from Bhaderwah.
The event was presided by Rajyogini BK Sudershan Didi Ji, Director Brahma Kumaris, J & K State.
The programme started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the guests followed by the motivational and spiritual session which was addressed by the BK Sisters & BK Brothers besides some guests.
Later devotional songs and dances were also presented by the children followed by distribution of Prasad.
“In the present circumstances when we are surrounded with violence, hatred & instability. We want to spread the message of peace & oneness, as we firmly believe that all the human being are one irrespective of their religion, caste, colour and ethnicity and they should never forget this. Only then all of us can live in complete peace & harmony which is need of the hour”, said the Rahyogini BK Sudarshan.
Prominent among the BKs who spoke on the occasion included BK Sushma, BK Kusum Lata, Sr Brother BK Ravinder Bhai Ji. He also coordinated the stage.
