BPCL remembers Pulwama martyr, hands over Rs one lakh to his wife

JAMMU, Mar 1: Officers and Dealers of BPCL here today paid rich tributes to the valiant martyr of Pulwama terrorist attack, CRPF HC Naseer Ahmed who was also son of the soil while Petrol Pump Dealers of Jammu Province and Officers of BPCL jointly contributed Rs one lakh to support the family members of the martyr.
At a function in BPCL office Bahu Plaza, wife of the martyr, Shazia Kouser was handed over Rs one lakh cheque in the presence of Commandant, Neeraj Kumar Pandey of 76 Battalion CRPF and BPCL’s Territory Manager, Rajesh Sharma.
Shazia was accompanied by her mother Zubaida Begum and Siraj Ud Din Ahmed, elder brother of the martyr and both children of the martyr.
Speaking on the occasion, family members of the martyr shared good moments of his life while the Commandant narrated his personality as a soldier.
He also shared some experiences of this para military force towards the maintenance of law and order apart from fighting militancy in J&K.
Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Sharma informed that Team BPCL at Jammu had always been in the forefront on any cause that is of national interest but this sad incident of Pulwama not only shook the nation but entire world.
A handout stated that entire team of BPCL and dealers vowed for any such cause in future also, when it’s a concern of the nation.
It is worth mentioning here that BPCL and J&K Police are running five Petrol Pumps in Jammu Province, profits of which are spent for the welfare of the kins of martyrs of J&K Police.
