UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: In a tragic incident, a 10-year-boy died after he fell down from the under construction site in Army area near Chopra Shop in Udhampur today.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Subash Kumar, resident of ward number 6 Durgapur, Thana Purnia in Bihar, at present Chopra Shop.
Police said the boy was bringing food to the construction site and suddenly fell into a deep pit and family members shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him brought dead.
Later, the body was sent for postmortem and the police after completion of all the formalities, handed over the body to the family members. The police registered a case under 174 CrPC for investigation.
