RAJOURI, July 22: A young boy was electrocuted while a woman was killed in a road accident in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 21-year-old Deepak Kumar, son of Chaman Lal, resident of Tandwal, in Rajouri received severe electric shocks when he was engaged in work to restore power at home this evening. The boy with serious injuries was removed to district hospital Rajouri where he succumbed to injuries after some time. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured when a bike was hit by an oil tanker at Thandapani village near Sunderbani today. While Tirath was injured in the accident, his wife Usha Devi (45), resident of Thandapani was succumbed to injuries in Sunderbani hospital due to head injuries. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
