RAJOURI, Sept 23: A 5-year -old boy was drowned in an under-ground water tank at Deri Lalyaot village in Manjakote today.
The deceased was identified as Rohan, son of Mohd Shafiq, resident of Deri Lalyot. The boy was playing near the water tank and it was open from the top. The boy slipped into the tank and drowned. No body noticed him falling and later his dead body was fished out the tank. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
