SRINAGAR, Sept 19: Police today said a minor boy drowned in river Jehlum in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A police spokesman said a 7 year old boy Mohammad Saqib Hajam drowned in river Jehlum at Sadunara in Sumbal area of the district. “The body was fished out by police and locals and was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing legal-medico formalities,” the spokesman added.
