REASI, Apr 28: A young boy working as a helper on an earth removing machine, died after suffering a fall from a ridge in Dewal area of Reasi, here today.
The deceased was identified Mohammad Zubeer, son of Bashir Ahmed. He was working as a helper on an earth removing machine for the past five months at Ladh Dewal road in Mahore sub division.
The mishap took place this morning around 07:45 a.m when the boy got slipped and fell down from a high ridge resulting into his on the spot death, said SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar.
A case in this regard has been registered in Police Station Mahore.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a collision of two motorcycles at Meyadi Katra.
The injured were identified as Narayana Dutt, son of Desraj of Kandiyar, Sohan Lal son of Om Prakash of Kandiyar and Vinod Kumar son of Beerji Koul of Kashmir Colony, Nagrota.
The trio was admitted to CHC Katra for treatment.
