UDHAMPUR, June 30: A boy was killed in road accident while a girl received burn injuries in district Udhampur today.
Official sources said that 16-year-old Akshay Kumar, son of Jai Singh, resident of Landhar, Pancheri was hit by an unknown vehicle at Domail (Chenani) today. The boy was rushed to local hospital and later referred to GMC Hospital. Jammu, but he succumbed to injuries there. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Shivani, daughter of Surinder Singh, resident of Kud received burn injuries while cooking at her home today. She was cooking on LPG stove. It caught fire suddenly and the girl was trapped in flames. She was removed to Udhampur hospital and later shifted to GMC Jammu.
