SAMBA, Mar 17: A 25 year old boy was killed when he came under train at Ghagwal Railway Fatak in district Samba today.
The deceased has been identified as Keshav, son of Ram Dass resident of Ghagwal. The incident took place this afternoon near Ghagwal Railway Fatak at around 1 pm as the youth suddenly jumped under Allahabad train that was on its way from Kathua towards Jammu, as a result he was killed on the spot.
After receipt of the information, GRP Police reached the spot and took the body into the custody and shifted it to nearby Hospital for autopsy. After completion of the legal formalities the body of the deceased was handover to his legal heirs for last rites. In this regard Police has registered a case and started investigation.
