JAMMU, Sept 23: A 25-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at his residence in Canal Road area here.
According to police official, the dead body of a youth identified as Sachin (25) son of Swarn Singh, resident of Bagholo, tehsil Basholi, was found hanging late last night by his mother at their rented accommodation in Mohinder Nagar, Canal Road, Jammu.
The body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities. As no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the Nagrota police had initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
