Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Feb 23: Gharota and Bishnah police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing six cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Gharota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle.
During checking, police rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons.
A case under FIR Number 14/18 has been registered at Gharota Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Bishnah Police Station chased and rescued two bovine animals from a Bolera pick up vehicle, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 36/18 has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and hunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
