Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Oct 5: Jhajjar Kotli police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 28 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid nakas at two different locations and intercepted two vehicles including a canter.
During checking, police team rescued 28 bovine animals from the vehicles and seized them, while the cattle smugglers managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
Cases under FIR Numbers 128/19 and 129/19 under relevant Sections have been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the cattle smugglers.
