RAJOURI, Mar 19: The police in Thannamandi rescued four bovine animals being smuggled in a vehicle and seized the vehicle.
Official sources said that today a team of police from Thannamandi Police Station under the supervision of SHO, Showkat Hussain, intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle with registration number JK11F/ 1660 being driven by Mohd Zaheer which was found loaded with four bovine animals.
The vehicle was moving towards Bufliaz from Rajouri .The bovines were tied with ropes in an improper and cruel manner. A case FIR No. 27/2022 under section 188 IPC 11 PCA Act has been registered in this connection.
