DODA, Mar 5: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Doda led by SHO Inspector Arun Sharma laid a naka near Ganpat bridge and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued 6 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested three persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Yousuf, resident of Dhar Kastigarh, Mohammad Rafi, son of Gul Mohammad Parray, resident of Menchar Bhagwah and Ghulam Mohammad, son of Mohammad Shafi, resident of Suserwar Bhagwah.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
